Newport lofts construction update

Quite a few of the projects announced in 2004 and 2005 are rapidly finishing up construction. Newport lofts are located in downtown Las Vegas and are being developed by the Cherry group.  They were the same developer for the Soho lofts (structure to the left of Newport). Construction for that project was just completed last year.

From the outside of the building, it looks like the main structure has almost reached the top. Newport will feature a very cool swimming pool and party area on the roof. It is one of the several projects that are revitalizing downtown Las Vegas and the new art district.
