James - Looks like it's not completely out of reach to get a condo in the city. Dupont Circle is a pretty nice area as I recall.
I noticed one bedroom condos selling price range from $250,000-$415,000. I assume it depends on views and condition of the property. I always thought it would be neat to own a condo in DC. But, I bought a second home in sunny Palm Springs, CA instead. But, I do not care for the long flight each way!
