The Divine Ms. M (Bette Middler) looking better than she's ever looked even though she has aged,,,,,started her two year stint at Ceasar's Palace this Wednesday, February 20, 2008. Tickets start at $95 and go up as high as $450. I've heard she does an AWESOME show and it's well worth the money spent. The exclusive production will stay put at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, with 100 shows per year for at least two years.
Impressionist Rich Little is on the mend. The 69-year-old Rich Little has been released from a Las Vegas hospital after being treated for blood clots in his leg. The spokesman says the celebrity impersonator "is in good spirits and is resting." The comic had been performing a 20-week engagement at the Golden Nugget hotel, but his remaining performances have been cancelled

Mary, you folks in Las Vegas have all the fun!!!
Your Friend in Charlottesville!
Mary,
I could use some R & R in Las Vegas right now. It's been a long year---time for some all out fun. Hope your market is recovering too!
Mary, Bette Middler is an inspiration to all women of a certain age!
I heard them talking about this on the Today Show. The say the show is fantastic. The showed just a small clip and it looked fun. I wish I was closer so I could see it.
Hi Mary, I wonder how old she is? Any idea?
Charles - we do have a lot of fun, come on down and see us sometime and get in on it!
Diane - it's been a long year here too :) If you come for R&R let me know and we will meet up!
Pat - Bette is truly an inspiration! I envy her energy!
Kimberly - I haven't seen the show yet. We try to do one show a year (they are pretty expensive) and hopeully this will be the one we get to see...she's here for 2 years so there is plenty of time
Marchel - I figured she was close to my age - I googled it and I was right - she's 62 and full of energy!
I hadn't heard about Rich Little, I loved him as a kid! I thought he was hilarious, I'm glad to hear that he is doing better. $450 for a ticket? I didn't even pay that for Sir Paul McCartney. I did pay a lot, but I can't imagine paying that for a single ticket to anyone performer.
