While the word "blog" is one I am familiar with, I never really blogged before. I hope I am doing it right. My friend, imrov and stand-up comic Mel Aubert ( http://www.melaubert.com/) loves to blog about everything. But it was not until today when I met Brad Andersohn from Placer Title in Fairfield http://www.theescrowguy.com/that I realized there was a cool place to do some Real Estate blogging.
I had put some real estate videos on youtube, such as the directions to Placer Title in Fairfield California http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWTsnb8wvNYand in 4 months I only had 60 hits. So I was getting kind of disillusioned about being able to attract any clients via my brilliant film-making skills.
When Brad showed me this site, I got very excited. If you don't know Brad, he is very motivational and he should probably give his own seminar. He is full of awesome marketing ideas. As I write this, I actually hope that no one in Solano County asks him about his awesome ideas, because I don't think many Realtors are using what he taught me today, but I really want to brag about him and Lorie and Chrissy and Phillip at Placer, because they really go the extra mile.
If you are doing a short sale and you need an escrow officer who anticipates what you will need and helps you above and beyond the call of duty, please contact Lorie. LBullard@placertitle.com
Also, in Vallejo, I have been very lucky to find Julie Larson at North American Title Company jlarson@nat.com . She and Carol have bent over backwards to help me out on a ton of deals, staying late for signings and getting stuff together quickly for deals we thought we were not going to close on time.
As you probably know, the title companies that are still in business in Solano County are really cutting back. I was considering standing with a picket sign until they give Lorie and Julie a full 40 hours again, but why not just "blog" about how great they are?
Anyway, that's about the end of my first blog. I think I will read it to my kids to put them to sleep tonight.
