Oregon Veterans Home Loan Now at 5.25%/5.125%Like the Oregon Bond Loan, the State of Oregon's Veterans Home Loan increased rates. Effective February 22, 2008, the interest rates were increased to 5.25% with 1% loan origination fee, or 5.125% with 1.50% loan origination fee. Unlike the Oregon Bond Loan program, these rates are still well below market interest rates, and are a great tool for the qualifying Oregon Veteran who uses this program to purchase their home.
