1.5 BILLION DOLLARS – Thanks, AHFC!The mission statement is "To Provide Alaskans Access to Safe, Quality, Affordable Housing". Since 1986, Alaska Housing Finance Corporation has contributed over 1.5 billion dollars to the State of Alaska through cash transfers, debt service payments and capital projects after paying all their own operating expenses. This is also after they spend millions each year helping Alaskans with their housing needs. It is nothing short of amazing, and I'd like to recognize the good people at AHFC for their efforts. |
