Sales Volume Strong in East Harford CountySALES VOLUME STRONG IN EAST HARFORD COUNTY The total sales volume for the east side of Harford County (Havre de Grace, Aberdeen, and Belcamp) has shown a significant increase for February 2008 as compared to February 2007 per reports as prepared by the Metropolitan Regional Information System of Rockville, Maryland. This may be a result of the huge influx of new residents which is expected with the relocation of civilian and military jobs related to the military base realignment. Fort Monmouth in New Jersey is significantly scaling back its operation and much of its function is being transferred to Aberdeen Proving Grounds. The brunt of the transfer is still yet to come, but should be mostly complete by 2011. This should keep sales and property values increasing over this period of time for this fortunate region. The numbers are shown below: Date-----Havre de Grace-----Aberdeen-----Belcamp------Total------- 2/2007--$3,267,100----------$4,052,772---$1,499,400---$8,819,272 2/2008--$5,353,282----------$4,171,298---$2,056,750---$11,581,330
