With today's emphasis by society to go GREEN is also having an effect on Commercial and Developer Financing. Just in the past month I've come across Investors who are looking to lend money on "Green" Development Projects. One specific Investor has a minimum of $50 Million for their "Green" projects which is outstanding because I am also seeing more Developers emphasizing that their project will be "Green".

What are some things that make a project or development "Green"? Here are a few, but not limited to:

• Building the structure out of Bio-friendly material like synthetic material
• The use of more natural lighting
• The recycling of ground water
• Using more "Shade Providing" plants around the building to reduce the need for air conditioning.
• Using Recycled material to build the structure
• NOT cutting down every possible tree on the subject property but only taking those specific tress which are in the way and leaving the rest.
• Better insulating of the property for better utility usage
