Kentucky's own, 
George Clooney gets the red carpet treatment for his new movie,"Leatherheads" in Maysville.
The whole town is abuzz with Hollywood style activity to get everything ready for his arrival and world premier on Monday night. March 24, 2008.
Hosting the event is the Washington Opera Theatre in downtown Maysville.
Millions of dollars of equipment needed to run the movie will be installed by Universal Studios. (TONS of equipment!) A red carpet will run from the corner of the Shugars Supply building up to the entrance of the theater. A white picket fence will separate spectators from the red carpet.
This will really be a all day event since spectators have will be arriving along with guests that actually have a ticket to get in. Two shuttle buses will run from the area of Limestone Street and Second Street to the event.

Lizette--I believe Mr Clooney and his costar Renee were in Duluth MN this past weekend to promote the movie as it was based on a 1920's Duluth football team. Hope you get to see the premier and take pics! Nice new picture of yourself too...very professional! :)

Karen - I agree, I think it is fun for them because it reminds them of a time when they could walk around unnoticed and enjoy being anonymous.
Angela - It's really my original logo pic. For a long time I have just cropped it to use the head.
Teri - I wish I had a ticket to go. If I had gone, I would have been standing out in the cold with the rest of the fans. I'll just stay here where I'm nice and warm. Besides I have already met him when he was in Lexington for a meeting at the Marriott. He looks real good in person! lol
