Veer Towers at MGM MIRAGE CityCenter appears like diamonds rising up out of a bed of crystals - See pictures.

Architect Helmut Jahn had a vision when designing the Veer Towers project located in Las Vegas' massive CityCenter development; to design the two high-rise buildings in a way that resembled diamonds rising up out of a bed of jagged crystals.  Ever wonder why the approx. 500k square foot retail mall at CityCenter was named The Crystals? 

Now that construction is well under way, Helmut Jahn's idea is beginning to show its face.   MGM MIRAGE CityCenter, an $8+ billion mega-resort being co-developed by MGM MIRAGE and Dubai World, is already making its mark on the Las Vegas Strip.  Just imagine sitting on the Veer Towers roof-top amenity deck enjoying views of the Las Vegas Strip below.

Veer Towers, two buildings leaning 5 degrees in the opposite direction, offers approx. 674 residential luxury condominium units for purchase.  As of March 23rd, 2008, approx. half of the units have been sold.  In addition, a few prime location, direct Las Vegas Strip facing penthouse units are still available.
