Today, March 29th, 2008, is a typical Sunday for us. Going out someplace to have lunch outdoors and then taking in some sites around town. A priority to our 'Eating out" is that the restaurant must have outdoor seating and an awesome view. Fortunately for us, being in Ft. Myers, Florida, We have numerous places to choose from. Today we chose the Sanibel Harbor Resort for dinning out and had a wonderful time.

Because of todays beautiful weather, there were numerous boats crusing by as we ate and plenty of people laying around the pool below us.

Another favorite restaurant is Parrot Key which is by Ft. Myers, Beach. Again, this is a restaurant with outdoor eating right next to a marina and a nice view of the boats and backwater. The temperature today is in the mid 80s and sunny.

If you are trying to decide on a location for your next vacation, be sure to think of Southwest Florida (Ft. Myers, Naples, Sanibel, or Captiva). before I moved here, i use to stay out on Sanibel Island. This island has a very laid back atmosphere, excellent resturants and is known for being the shelling capital of the world. you can spend hours staring down at the sand looking for shells.

Soooo, next time you need a place to escape to, google the topic 'Lee Island Coast" and you won't be disapointed. This is a great place to visit any time of year.
