When Baby Boomers Die Off, Will the Housing Market Die with It?
They further concluded that it will create, in their own words, a Generational Housing Bubble" and for the surviving elders, their equity will shrink and would have a negative effect in their retirement nest egg. The only positive aspect of their predictions is that it won't affect all markets- at least at the same time. They based their theory on the historical relationship of age and housing demand.
