Top Builders in America - A Sortable List

Last September I posted a blog which presented a Sortable List of America's Top Home Builders of 2006 & 2007.

The blog reading community was underwhelmed.

Chalk it up to inexperience or a paucity of information- but the link to Builder Online's research was a big eye-opener for me.

For those who specialize in buyer representation, it's helpful to know the trajectory of America's builders.

You'll find all the large home builders as well as many of the smaller builders listed there.

More importantly you can sort them by units sold or Revenue.

Who were the big five of 2006... how about 2007?

Here's the 2007 "Units Sold" Winners:

• D.R. Horton
• Lennar
• Pulte
• KB Home
• Centex.
  

Revenue is a different story.

The largest revenue company of 2007 was Lennar winning the horse race with D.R. Horton.

So... who will be the next champ?

Though they don't have all the data just yet, it appears that [insert drum roll] ....... DR Horton is officially the biggest builder in America.
