Metro Detroit was consumed today with the 12th Annual Dream Cruise (a parade of classic cars). It’s a major event that attracts over a million people each year and just keeps growing.
For the second year, SKBK Sotheby’s hosted a client appreciation party. In spite of some rain, we had a super day. We even had agents stopping by from other offices.
Dmitry and I were delighted to have our clients stob by. One of the nice things about this event is that it gives us a chance to talk to people in a fun atmosphere about something besides how many bedrooms they need in their next home. (Not that we ever mind talking about someone's next home!) It’s a casual day, with so much going on and everyone is in a great mood. You don’t even have to know anything about old cars to have enjoy the Dream Cruise.
It’s certainly a pleasant way to keep in touch with our clients, and our office has done a super job at organizing something a fun way for us to say "thanks" to the people who've hired us.
(I will try to post a couple of great pictures later, but I am having trouble with Flickr. Click here to see Elvis the mortgage lender.)

I've never really been into classic cars but how can you not love the dream cruise? It is awesome. I'm curious to hear how many people showed up this year.
Our party attracted quite a few. The streets were crowded too. I barely left our tent though.
