One of the great things about living in the Belmont Bay community in Prince William County is the number of ways you can find to enjoy an hour or a day by or on the Occoquan River.
For land lovers you can spend hours sitting in the gazebo by the river walk reading a book and watching the boats go by. You can also walk for miles along trails at the 400 acre nature reserve watching osprey's and eagles fly.

If getting out on the water is your thing then consider launching your kayak and paddling across the river to Mason Neck State Park. Enjoy the quiet that comes from just listening to the gentle lapping of the water on your boat. Do you feel the need for a bit more speed and the wind in your hair? Then launch your boat and head out for a day of cruising all of the way out to the Chesapeake Bay.
You can live the resort lifestyle all year long if you decide to make Belmont Bay your home. Twice named by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the great Northern Virginia communities to live, the neighborhood has a lot to offer besides the fantastic water views.
Stop by the new Harborside Condominiums this weekend to check out the latest waterfront homes available in the community. Get ready to enjoy your new balcony overlooking the Belmont Bay marina. Great new pricing and immediate deliveries available. Call me for more information on living the good life in Belmont Bay.

Hi Cindy...If it is near the water, it appeals to me. That's all it takes. I checked the link and the condos really look pretty nice.
Kathleen
Hey Cindy - Sounds nice! I too could use a day on the water. In fact that is why I am up so early... my husband left at 3 am this morning to go fishing and I couldn't go back to sleep.
Kathleen-I've always been torn between the water and the mountains. Looks like the water is going to win. The condos are great. I'm the sales agent for the building and we have had two contracts in the last two week. Looks like the buyers realize the value of the great view too!
Naoma-I was out on the water last weekend which is where the kayak picture came from. Hope you can take a nap this afternoon to make up for the early wake up call and that dinner won't be frozen fish sticks!
Enjoyed your post--my husband and I are going to take up kayaking. We have a home in Florida where we go for rest and relaxation. The area lends itself beautifully to kayaking. Looks so serene and peaceful.
Cindy, Nice looking building. You should have lots of success with them.
Diane-Kayaking is great upper body exercise. I love getting back into some of the small creeks in our area and just enjoying the peace and quiet.
Scott-The condos have a great view of the marina and they are probably the last waterfront ones to be built in Belmont Bay.
Cindy, I remember when Harry Diamond Labs was over that way. That's good water with easy access to the Potomac. You can shoot right on over to Mattawoman Creek for some good tubing and water skiiing. Boaters further upstream have to motor for awhile to get past the no-wake zone.
Craig-the Diamond Labs property is now the nature reserve! It is a great place to walk along the water. You can't launch a boat from there but I look over it everyday from my condo and get to hear the foxes yelping in the evening.
