Long Island Bank Owned Homes (Week Ending 5-2-08)

The following is the weekly update of Long Island Bank Owned Homes.  Each week, I will be providing an updated list of the bank owned homes that came on the market on Long Island during the previous week. 

Bank owned homes are drawing a lot of interest from first-time homebuyers and investors on Long Island.  It is important to keep in mind that bank owned homes are sold in "as-is" condition, and the banks will not take care of any repairs.  It should also be noted that some bank owned homes are in poor condition, and will not qualify for a traditional mortgage in its current condition.  The good news is that there are mortgage banks that will finance these homes in "as-is" condition.
