Good morning, we are paying $3.46 for a gallon of unleaded and 4.26 for diesel. This is outrageous.
I paid $3.47 yesterday at Sam's club here in Florida...Just Crazy!
I paid $3.65 a gallon yesterday. Hope we don't rech the $4 mark.
WOW, when you get to 5 bucks a gallon... SELL SELL SELL!!!!
Your Friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
3.59 in Lakeland. Diesel 4.17. Wow
Georgina - We're paying about $3.89 for regular, $4.15 for premium. Diesel is ridiculous... about $4.50.
Georgina, I guess that is a price worth paying to live in paradise - right? However, it is pretty nice in Texas and the going rate is about $3.45. I paid $3.33 at a discounted station on Wednesday.
Jay - thanks for being the first comment
BLR Guy - it seems to be a trend!
Gary - I hate to say it, but you probably will, sooner than you expect
Charles - you've got the right idea! buy low, sell high
Shaun - thanks for coming by and contributing
Tom - I'm surprised you're paying that much, I would think it would be cheaper there
Kathi - unfortunately you're right... but at least we save on winter tires!
Georgina,
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I now have a red dot on my map that is off the mainland.
I am paying $3.39 in the mountains of Colorado. What are you now paying for a loaf of bread? I think the price of one is going up almost as quickly as the price of the other.
Sabrina - your gas is cheap! haha
Hmm - a loaf of french bread at Safeway - $1.85 Other places $2-4 and up.
Here in Los Angeles, Reg. Unleaded is also over $4.00 a gallon (too bad my car takes Supreme!!! $4.51 - OUCH!) and the price of crude hit $122 a barrel today - Bush & Cheney are lining their pockets before they're out of office - sick!
I fondly remember paying .80 cents a gallon back in high school and saying, "...if gas hits $1 I'm riding the bus!"...... maybe I should take my own advice.
Georgina, this one just makes me scared! (choke) I've been moaning about our prices at $3.61. Where will it end? No one will be able to afford to drive anywhere! We will only be able to sell houses within bicycle range and the internet will be the only form of reaching out to the world. Oh thank heaven for Active Rain! I just worked myself into a tizzy. I had better go get a drink of water! Good to visit with you! Later in the rain~Deb
Connie - I'm surprised to hear that some west coast places have gas more expensive than Honolulu. This administration has really made a mess.
Debra - I year you! The sooner we can all get electric cars, powered by solar panels, the better.
Georgina - Gas here in Ontario Canada has topped the $1.25 a litre mark or $4.75 Canadian for a US Gallon in the last few days.
Kathy - wow! And I thought Canada would have better prices, what with all that oil sands production.
Georgina - A good percentage flows south of the 49Th
Georgina - Hopefully with a change in administration will come a reducation in gas prices and more research in alternative fuels - perhaps some that do not take food out of people's mouths!
Hi Georgina, Aren't these prices just crazy? Jesse just paid $4.47 for diesel on Saturday. I'm about ready to dig out my bicycle.
Kathy
Kathy Clulow - you're right, so that helps to drive up your prices too I suppose.
BJ - I've got my fingers crossed, let's see what happens in the next few years.
Kathy Clifton - haha - yeah me too!
