Inman Part II: Featuring AR Members; Dan Green, Ken Mascia and Maureen Francis

The FOUR PART Inman piece continues to discuss techniques of good business blogging by interviewing a few more Active Rain members.  If you missed the review yesterday, be sure to check it out the title is: "Bloggers crunch real estate numbers."

Today's edition features Dan Green, a prolific mortgage blogger of Daily, The Mortgage Reports who also contributes to the BloodhoundBlog.   So much of what Dan does was repeating the same presentation, blogging the presentation and using visuals raised the level of understanding for his consumer.

Dan uses his voice to educate the consumer.  We also heard this yesterday Teresa Boardman, when Dan wants to speak to the industry, he does so on the BloodhoundBlog.

Maureen Francis added a mortgage voice to her blog by getting her loan officer, Ken Mascia to contribute content.  We all  know Maureen as the writing half of Maureen Francis and Dmitry Koublitsky from Birmingham, Michigan, an upscale suburb of Detroit.

Ken Mascia offers great advice in his recent post "How to Get a Great Credit Score."  Maureen's insightful decision to add a mortgage pro helps everyone by adding value for her audience, the consumer and gives more exposure for both her online business and Ken's as well. 

I enjoyed learning more about Maureen in this article.  We all know Maureen as a stand up person who will fight for what is right.  What we might not have know is she also took a stand politically on her personal blog, publishing an endorsed list of candidates for her town the Village of Beverly Hills, Michigan. 

Most Realtors make it a practice to stay away from controversy and will seldom be caught talking about religion or politics.  We have been taught that doing so in a lose/lose situation.  When it comes to these topics you will lose some and gain some.  Generally speaking its much easier to do business with someone who thinks like you.  Maureen obviously knows that.

Teresa was quoted again in today's article about foreclosure homes.  Her thoughts reflected on the families that lost the homes and how these homes have a sad story to tell.

 The "bells and whistles" section has tips on blogging syndication, widgets and tips on understanding what to do and why to do it...all contributed by these successful bloggers.  In my estimation, it was the best part of this series.  It is not often you get information this good from your competition!
