While teachers are losing jobs all over Florida, the Brevard County School School Board announced today that all teachers jobs are sparred! This is really good news for everyone in Brevard, and great news for Brevard County Florida real estate. People wanting to move to Brevard with school aged children can look forward to a school board that did everything possible to retain teachers.
Proposed Budget Cuts of 27.7 Million
Even with these cuts, all teachers keep their jobs. Teachers have a thankless job at times, and do not receive the support and respect that they deserve. Although there were budget cuts, they all kept their jobs. Kudos to the Brevard County School Board for a job well done after being dealt some bad cards.

Denise, this is great news for the county, As a former Brevard County resident and Titusville High graduate I thought Brevard County schools were always some of the best in the state.
That is some really great news for the school teachers.

Great News for the School Children living in the county Denise ! Maintaining good Student Teacher ratios is key to learning and higher test scores too!
This positive news impacts desirability of moving to that area since school choices impact where folks pick to relocate.
Sincerely,
Grace
Hi Gary, thanks for the comments. What a small world! My husband graduated from Rockledge High School, and I graduated from Cocoa. Thanks again and take care.
Hi Don, you are right, it is great news. We know many of them and while they won't be getting a raise, they are relieved about keeping their jobs. Thanks again!
Hi Grace, you are so right, those ratios are very important. Thanks for reading and commenting. Take care!
Dear Denise, Thank you for visiting my blog - your blog is GREAT and very informative!!! Great news for your teachers and kids...:)
Hi Tara, thanks for the kind comments and you are welcome! Good luck on your race with Jack Johnson! Thanks and take care.
Denise- That is great for your teachers and students. Teachers are not revered here as they should be. There is enough money to pay teachers, it is just that the districts waste money on stuff that is not useful.
Hey, that's really great news for you guys! I don't think all the teachers here get to keep theirs...boo! :(
Hi Shannon, yes it is good, especially for the kids. It is really sad with so many teachers losing jobs all around Florida. Thanks and have a great weekend!
