The 56th Annual St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade

It's that time of year again, the St. Clair Shores 56th annual Memorial Day parade will be on Harper this year, thousands of people from the city and surrounding areas will head down to celebrate this annual event. It's a great time to spend with family and friends and honor our nations veterans! So grab your lawn chairs & blankets and come on down to this terrific annual event! The theme for this years parade is "Long May She Wave"
Thank you to the St. Clair Shores parade council and all the volunteers who work so hard to make our parade a success for all to enjoy!
Have a Happy & Safe holiday weekend!

I always love a good parade. It sounds like a fun day and a great way to honor those who have served our nation!
Bonny - this is a really good parade, seems to get better & better every year! Thanks for commenting & have a great weekend!
Great Idea For Localism Posts Mike - Hope the weather is great on Monday for all our communities plans!
Sincerely,

It has been so long since I've been to a parade. I think we need to take one in this holiday. Thanks for the reminder!! GBU!
I was at the city offices the other day and saw the signs. One thing I've never understood - why on Harper and not on Jefferson? Perhaps I should ask the city officials that question...
You may see me and my hubby there with our umbrella chairs :-)
Grace- Thanks! Supposed to be a nice weekend here.
Elizabeth - thanks for stopping by, hope you can make it to one this weekend!
Kris - they alternate every year between Harper & Jefferson. Last year was on Jefferson, so this year it's Harpers turn. Have a great weekend! :)
