Have You Been To Home Stager's Heaven?

I just came from home stager's heaven . . . well, actually I was in Atlanta, but it must have resembled home stager's heaven, because I had the opportunity to exercise my talents to create a lovely atmosphere in this already charming home! I'm not sure what seemed so magical to me . . . I staged it in a day. It was just me; no one to share company with; but it was pure pleasure. My enthusiasm was at a high; I was totally at peace and enjoying the tasks at hand!

I always am quite enthusiastic about my work, whether it is staging an occupied home for the home seller or tackling a vacant for a seller, investor, or builder. I love home staging for Atlanta Realtors. I love doing it all.

Which, when you think about it, how absolutely lucky is it to be free in America to do what you want for a living; to make your own choices; to focus on a talent you have to share? Making money is of course, the thrust behind my home staging business -- but how lucky am I to love what I do?

VERY LUCKY , , , AND BLESSED! National Anthem, anyone?

I am signing off now to go call my son and thank him for being a U.S. Marine!

How folks live in a home is their business, how folks present the home for sale is my business!

Karen, thanks for your enthusiasm and your expertise. You made quite a transformation!

Karen, The home looks just beautiful, you really did a lovely job--and apparently loved every minute of it which is so nice to hear!

You did a great job.  It is great to love what we do.

Hello Karen, I know I've told you before but it merrits repeating, I just love your slogan "How folks live in a home is their business, how folks present the home for sale is my business!"  Sounds very much like you were in the Stagers zone....

Tell your son "Thank you for your service," and thank you for raising a child who is willing to serve us and his country by laying his life on the line.   The life of a military family is not an easy one, but I pray you are blessed as well.

Karen,

Such a fun staging story!  There is that certain adrenalin we all get as stagers, when you are just about to start your staging job and then the rush you get in the end when it is all completed! We are very lucky to have an exciting job that we are passionate about!

Karen ~ Your clients are surely in heaven too after seeing the great transformation you engineered in this home.  You are so right about the joy in loving what we do.  After every staging project I consciously say "thank you" for being given the opportunity to do what makes me so happy....we are indeed blessed.  Great photos by the way!

Hi Morgan!  Thx so much for those kind words!

Hey there Carole!  Thank you!  Isn't life great?  I mean there are always bumps and bruises along the way, but for the most part, a little enthusiasm can carry you like a balloon in a gentle breeze!

HI Wanda -- I see you have been to Stager's heaven as well!  Thank you

Gary you are a trip!  Is stager's zone different from stager's heaven?

Beth, you are so kinda for the well wishes.  My son, Aaron, is our only military and he will be done with his Marine Reserves this coming fall.  He did tour in Iraq once -- Sure gives one an appreciation for what these gays and gals do for us!

Hello Michelle -- I am so glad you liked the staging story of heaven time!

Hi There, Maureen -- thx for the continued support and kind words. Love it, Love it, Love it!

I know the feeling well Karen! I love how you put it in perspective too - to be able to work in a country freely and do what we love best - just reading that gave me a sense of calm in an otherwise very overwhelming week. Thank you for sharing that and the lovely photos too.

Give you son an extra thank you and a big Texas howdy from me too!

Karen - everything looks SOOOOOOO pretty.  I love the breakfast area with the table.

Karen, being in the Stager's Zone, is what gets you to Stagers Heaven....

Hi Karen O!  If you ever need a sense of calm, I'm the one (it comes with age, LOL) Thx for the compliment -- hug vibes sent to son~!

Hey Maureen!  Thank You!  I love that table as well -- got it from IKEA.  It's my second one -- the first one got bought from me to leave with the house.  Wonder if I'll get to keep this one?

Gary, now I get it -- now I know I am in stager's heaven!

Yes Karen, you are indeed blessed. But then, so am I. I too, love, love, love what I do. That is way cool. BTW, I just recieved a "report card" back from a client with every box marked A. Thanks for sharing not only the idea but the very report card with me. You rock, my lady.

my goal -- all A's -- so far so good; and I would expect no less from you!  Thx for the positive comment.

Aloha Karen,

I love the simplicity and natural textures used. A little bit goes along way! Great stage.

Peace,

Kimo!  Why thank you, love!

Thank your son for me too.  God Bless America, and you just don't know how lucky you are sometimes...thanks for the reminder that each day we get to do what we love and enjoy every moment is a blessing.  Nice post.
