Last night we went out with friends to the Tennessee River. We put in at the Trina boat launch (close to our friends who live in Madison). This area of the Tennessee River is not back water but is just the river. Because it was late in the afternoon the water was very smooth. They have Yamaha Jet boat which is great for skiing. We spent a lot of time trying to get our children up on skis but - no luck.
We also wanted to try skiing behind our Wave Runner. Last year when we got our Wave Runner we bought ski's (child and adult). However, we never successfully got up on the skis. So since our friends are experienced skiers we asked them to try. The wife of my friend went first and she came up out of the water and had a great time skiing. Later all of the skiers went behind the Jet Ski successfully. The Jet Ski was even able to pull a large man on single ski without any issue.
The obvious question is why did it work now versus last year? The answer is that when we tried last year we were using a shorter rope that came with the children's ski. This time we had a full length rope and it worked great!!!
My other hobby is working with Real Estate. I currently help promote two subdivisions in the Limestone Alabama. Legacy Grove and The Woodlands. Homes in these subdivisions are built by EMW Construction, Inc. and marketed by Legacy Home Group.
