If you live in Northglenn you get a free landfill day at the Republic Landfill in Erie on April 28.

If you are a resident of Adams County you can take part in the Household Chemical Roundup on May 5 at Water World, July 21 at the Adams County Fairgrounds, or September 15 at the KMart on 104th and Marion. The time is 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and if you pre-register at www.tchd.org/householdchemical.htm you don't have to fill out the paperwork that day.

For Thornton trash customers throw out the big stuff in April. If you are a Wednesday customer have your goods out in the gutter by 7 a.m. by April 16, if you are a Thursday customer have your goods out in the gutter by 7 a.m. by April 23 and for Friday customers, by 7 a.m. April 30.

If you're lucky enough to be a resident of Westminster you can take your limbs and shrubs to the recycling pile on the last Saturday of the month from March to October. Limbs can't be more than 8" in diameter but they don't need to be tied. Show up between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on the south side of Standley Lake at 88th Ave. between Kipling and Independence.

In Broomfield on April 14 at the Broomfield Recycling Center they're sponsoring a "Hard to Recycle Round Up Day." On April 15, the First Congregational Church of Eastlake will take your computer monitors for $10 a piece. Broomfield is also offering a City Wide Spring Clean-Up so go to www.broomfield.org to find out which day the trucks will show up in your neighborhood.
