Middletown Maryland Housing Market

Here is a snapshot of the current housing market in Middletown Maryland.

As of the 4/11/07 there are 92 current residential active listings in Middletown. Currently 6 homes are under contract which is only slightly over 6% of the total listed homes.

The breakdown of the price ranges looks as follows:

• Under $300K- 7 Homes  
• $300-400K- 22
• $400-500K- 18
• $500-600K- 16
• $600-700K- 12
• $700-800K- 4
• $800K+ -13

Of the 92 active listings, 25 have been on the market 180+ days and 40 total at 90+ days. This still shows that sellers need to get those prices down to be competitive or risk a long period on the market. Although the start of the year seemed to pick up some I have seen a slight softening recently.

The breakdown of sold homes since the start of the year looks as follows compared to last year:

Overall the sold properties slightly decreased  in 2007 so far there doesn't seem much of a difference statiscally speaking from 2006.

We'll have to see what the warmer weather may bring!
