Don't Forget To Listen To Your Computer Radio For Mickey Jones Tomorrow!

Well Friends the Big Weekend is almost here!
Bikes and Blues with Mickey Jones on Saturday and The Mickey Jones Golf Classic on Sunday. Both will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis TN.

Mickey arrived Tuesday evening and joined our committee for our final meeting at Cancun Lagoon. He told us that he liked how we've banded together for a commen cause, fighting childhood cancer.

Last night I met Mickey at the Iron Horse Saloon where he sat with the regulars joking around, telling stories and playing horseshoes. I believe he and his partner won 2 out of 3 games. I think we both had a great time.

Tomorrow our day is to begin at 9am Eastern with a radio interview that you all can listen to right here on the computer! Mickey will be on the air with DJ's Tracy Dillon and Frank Scott of Daytona's Classic Rock Station 95.7 WHOG The Hog. Tune in a listen! Mickey is a hoot to listen too, but at the same time he is very serious when it comes to the children and St. Jude. I'll be there snapping photo's and listening also. I don't know what the rest of the day holds, but at 5PM we will be at our VIP Party meeting our Reps from St. Jude, and our big sponsors that have helped to make these events possible, Bray and Gillespie, Coke, Budweiser, Stone Wood Restaurant, Azinger Golf.

Saturday my day begins at 8AM at the Iron Horse and won't end until after 6, registering riders for our escorted ride, then photographing all the people, and sights after the ride. I was just contacted today about having photos submited into Florida Bikers Digest to go with a story that a friend will be submitting. I will have to make sure to get good photos of Mickey and our Featured Child, Easton Wargo for that!

Sunday my day begins at 730 at LPGA golf course, I'm not sure what I'll be doing until the game begins. Once that happens I'll be shooting the golfers swinging around different holes with Mickey while a good friend of mine will be doing posed shots with her nice SLR Nikon.

This will be my last post until next week, I don't know when our final total will come in, last year the money came in for about 2 weeks after the events, but I'll let you know how things went as soon as I get some rest! I'm also awaiting photos that the Hometown News took on Tues and as soon as their photographer emails them to me I'll be able to post them here. (I think?)
