Boonsboro Maryland Real Estate Market Report- Beginning of 2007

Here is a snapshot of the current housing marketin Boonsboro Maryland.

As of the 4/16/07 there are 69 current residential active listings in Boonsboro. Currently 8 homes are under contract which is only slightly over 10.4% of the total listed homes.

The breakdown of the price ranges looks as follows:

• $200K and under- 3 Homes  
• $200-300K- 18
• $300-400K- 20
• $400-500K- 10
• $500-600K- 3
• $600-700K- 3
• $700+ - 12

Of the 69 active listings, 27 have been on the market 180+ days and 40 total at 90+ days. This still shows that sellers need to get those prices down to be competitive or risk a long period on the market. Although the start of the year seemed to pick up some I have seen a slight softening recently.

The breakdown of sold homes since the start of the year looks as follows compared to last year:

Overall the sold properties decreased in 2007 from 2006.
