Myersville Maryland Real Estate Market Report- Beginning of 2007

Here is a snapshot of the current housing market in Myersville Maryland.

As of the 4/16/07 there are 34 current residential active listings in Myersville. Currently 8 homes are under contract which is only slightly over 19% of the total listed homes.

The breakdown of the price ranges looks as follows:

• $300K and under- 4 Homes  
• $300-400K- 10
• $400-500K- 4
• $500-600K- 5
• $600-700K- 5
• $700+ - 6

Of the 34 active listings, 15 have been on the market 180+ days and 21 total at 90+ days. This still shows that sellers need to get those prices down to be competitive or risk a long period on the market. Although the start of the year seemed to pick up some I have seen a slight softening recently.

The breakdown of sold homes since the start of the year looks as follows compared to last year:
