Donated to American Idol?? Better check your bank account...

Aloha Everyone,

Last week a fellow Rainer wrote a blog about American Idol's efforts to raise money on their Idol Gives Back special and left a link for us to donate if we wanted to.  I did watch last night, and I believe they raised something like 7 million dollars.

Good fundraising campaign?  Maybe, but check your bank account...

On FOX's own local news affiliate here in Hawaii, they had a report tonight about a guy who donated $25 to American Idol online with his debit card.  When he checked his bank account the next day, they withdrew $25... TWICE!

When he called the network about the problem, they told him this has been a common complaint.

If you donated to the Idol Gives Back fundraiser, double-check to make sure they didn't double-dip!
