I'm here to sing the praises of our Solano Association Of Realtors, SAOR. Our board is awesome. We have so many active giving people who work their tails off, not only for us realtors but for the community as a whole. This time the people to benefit will be our local Head Start program. We have numerous areas that we help out with. Schools, the Make A Difference program around the holidays, the Relay For Life American Cancer event and the list goes on and on.

Kudos to our board members, all of the many volunteers on the various committees who see to it that these things actually get done. Since I'm not on a committee of any kind at this time, I lend my support by donating time, money, buying tickets to events (having FUN!)and volunteering time to help out. I decided I would try to spread the word via our AR contacts. So for those of you locals interested in supporting the cause, here it is:

Food, Fun, Raffle Prizes, Entertainment & Excitement all for the affordable price of $25. This annual event will take place at the U.S. World Classic Museum in Vallejo. 1525 Sonoma Blvd. to be exact. Friday May 11th from 6 - 10 p.m. All proceeds will be donalted to our local Head Start program.

Head Start promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of edication, health, nutrition, social and other services to enrolled children and families.
