State water managers on Thursday declined to increase restrictions in Monroe and Miami-Dade counties, leaving them at Phase 2, where they likely will continue indefinitely. The worsening drought and threat of saltwater intrusion into freshwater wells prompted stricter rules in Broward, Palm Beach... - this means odd numbered addresses can water lawns between 4-8 a.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays, while even numbered addresses can water between 4-8 a.m. Thursdays and Sundays. Hand watering with an automatic shutoff nozzle is permitted on designated days between 5-7 p.m. - Cars and boats can be washed on the designated days and during any of the allowed hours.
