The Carefree Arizona Real Estate Market is less active than other suburbs of Phoenix. The average selling price there was $668,220.00 over the 86 homes sold there in the last year.

There are fewer buyers qualified to purchase homes in this price range under present lending constraints and few cash buyers for properties in Carefree price ranges.

Price per square foot was at it's lowest point in the third quarter of 2011 at $164.96, that correlates well with the rest of the region. Inventory is down here and prices are starting to improve.
