This weekend brings another cool event to Tempe Beach Park, the Arizona Aloha Festival. Tens of thousands of people will head to the festival for good food, music, shopping and fun. This family-friendly event will give you a great taste of the islands, don’t miss it.
The photo below is one I shot at a previous Aloha Festival.
The AZ Aloha Festival provides awareness and education about Hawaiian and other South Pacific Islander culture and heritage. But, there is so much more! This FREE festival is fun for people of all ages and demographics. Great food, amazing culture, amazing arts and crafts and so much more. Each year, my family and I look forward to attending the Arizona Aloha Festival. My kids love the Hawaiian shaved ice, the dancers and all of the unique crafts, etc. I always enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the entire experience. It is one of our favorite family-friendly events at Tempe Beach Park.
Just like any of the events at Tempe Town Lake, getting to the Arizona Aloha Festival is easy. Just hop on the METRO light rail and head to the Mill Avenue Station. While some kids ride for free, there are reduced fares available for ages 6-18. ( 5 and under are always free ) The reduced fares are $1.75 for an all day pass. For most of us, and all day light rail pass is $3.50 and can be purchased at any station. You can use any of the FREE park and ride lots along the line and then head to the Mill Avenue Station to get to the Aloha Festival. The map below shows the area of the Tempe light rail station closest to the Arizona Aloha Festival at Tempe Town Lake.

Why Buy New?
Many of my clients are re-thinking their options. Do we still sell foreclosures, short-sales and investor homes?? ABSOLUTELY! All day long! So if you aren’t convinced give me a call and we will set you up in a foreclosure or short-sale….BUT …to be fair and honest with you to get you the best home deal available on the market I want you to be informed. Come……Let’s look at this…
As anyone who has been through the process can tell you, the ‘deal’ usually involves –
· Months of negotiations with a home that may or may not qualify to close
· Bidding up over the list price in multiple offer situations to get “the highest and best” offer
· Finding that your home won’t appraise at value of the offer you placed on it
· Buying “AS IS” and finding after paying for appraisals and inspections that home has extensive undetected work
· Now you got the home!! Only to be faced with a long fix-it list after you’ve moved in!
· Owning a construction company that’s main focus is to repair these foreclosures and short-sales, we have an unlimited supply of work to perform….and let me remind you that even if you were able to purchase that home at $45-$75 a sq ft, it still costs $85+ a sq ft to remodel it…….SO are you getting the deal that you started out thinking that you had?
· AND…you get up-to-date amenities and get to pick your colors, appliances, tile, carpet….you get the home you want for a price that is comparable to the ‘distressed’ property you almost bought.
We are your local are your local “New and Used” Real Estate Professionals and can provide you full service for any home purchase.
