Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 deep dish (9-inch) pie crust (I use frozen)
• 3/4 cup white sugar
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp ground ginger
• 1/4 tsp ground cloves
• 2 eggs
• 1 (15 ounce) can Libbey 100% pure pumkin
• 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Beat eggs in larger bowl. Stir in pumpkin and spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Pour into pie shell.
3. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and then bake for 40 to 50 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
4. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Refrigerate or serve.

We make this pie every year because it is so easy and tastes so good. We have family members who are diabetic, so we replace the sugar with Splenda and it tastes great! Enjoy our Pumpkin Pie Recipe!
