Appliance Recycling Program

The Town of Gilbert will come to your home to pick up and recycle your no longer working or needed appliances. Items that will be considered for the Appliance Recycling Program in Gilbert, AZ are washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, water heaters and other metal items like swing sets or fencing. The Town of Gilbert does not pick up car parts.

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE THESE ITEMS OUT WITH YOUR BULK TRASH, THEY WILL NOT BE COLLECTED.

Call the Town of Gilbert Public Works department to schedule your pick up. These items will then be collected on the Thursday of the the week that your Bulk Trash is scheduled to be picked up.

The Town of Gilbert has a is located west of the South Area Service Center. Entrance to the facility is about a half block west of Greenfield at 158th Street. There will be a blue sign directing you to the facility’s entrance.

Residents of the Town of Gilbert may bring the following items to the HHW Collection Facility:

Latex and Oil based paints, Stains, Varnishes, Rimless Auto Tires, Adhesives, Motor Oil, Antifreeze, Transmission Fluid, Hydraulic Fluids, Gasoline, Diesel Fuel, Pesticides, Fungicides, Pool Chemicals, Household Cleaners, Propane Tanks, Camping Cylinders, Scrap Metal, Thermostats, Smoke Detectors, Fire Extinguishers, Fluorescent bulbs, CFL bulbs, Auto Batteries, Household batteries, Cooking Oil, Cardboard, Helium Tanks, Electronic waste, Televisions, Printers, Monitors, Cell Phones

Items NOT ACCEPTED include business or commercial hazardous waste, tires with rims, ammunition, explosives, radioactive materials, 55 gallon drums of materials, or any type of medical waste.

Roll Off or Dumpster Service

Temporary metal dumpster containers are available for residential use through the Town of Gilbert. These are perfect for large landscaping or remodeling projects as they are delivered right to your home for you to fill. Then picked up by the Town of Gilbert for disposal.
