Sometimes the most peaceful view at sunset is found looking away from the sun. That was the case this evening in Dove Mountain, Marana, AZ.

I hope your week was successful, and that you had a chance to vege just a little today. Enjoy the view.

Tiger Woods to Play Next Week in the Accenture World Match Play in Arizona

He's been out of the world of competitive play for nearly a year. Tiger announced this week that he's fit to play, and he's chosen the World Golf Championship Accenture Match Play in Marana (a Tucson suburb,) to make his debut. What has he missed most in the past year? "The competition."

Tiger's good for business! When Tiger comes to play golf, real estate activity follows him. A Long Realty agent sold a near-million dollar house, and we did the lending on that last year when a fan from Indiana flew here to see Tiger play.

Tucson REALTOR Kent Simpson wrote a blog post last year when Tiger won (yet again!) at Dove Mountain. Here's the link.

We're looking for more of the same this year. Welcome back, Tiger!

Tiger Woods won last year's match on a bum knee. He had surgery in June following his win of the US Open at Torrey Pines, and has been in rehab since then.

As the defending champion, will Woods make his return to competition here at Dove Mountain?

I'm betting he will.

The Season is nearly upon us in Dove Mountain & Oro Valley

Nick K. Manning, CNE: Real Estate Agent in Tucson, AZ

Yes, it is football time again across our great country and for that we are truly joyful. But the season I refer to is the season when the NW part of Tucson starts to think about coming alive again. Its the time when the weather turns decidedly chilly and worse in most parts of the country and in the border country north. Its the time when the desert, yes, the desert that is so darn hot turns into a place that must be experienced for several seasons to truly understand.

Our family, friends, neighbors, associates and even collegues are starting to think about heading back to the Old Pueblo in numbers that stagger the imagination. Coming back to their "other home" in the great Southwest. Coming back to the comfort, better weather, change of scenery and warmth for minds and bodies that have grown accustomed to what is not new, but never ceases to enliven the spirit for a good long time.

We welcome you all back home. Can't wait to see those familiar faces. Can't wait to see the buzz again around the whole area. Can't wait to experience again the annual tradition of the throngs back again in our thriving community.

See you all real soon...
