Moondance has a very good location in East Mesa, close to freeway access, and great shopping. Red Mountain Park is very close for recreation & fishing. The area schools include Franklin NE Elementary a presidents winner of a blue ribbon award of which only 100 schools in the entire nation are picked for this award each year, Falcon Hill Elementary & Red Mountain High is also ranked as one of the areas best high schools.

Like many houses in the Phoenix Metro area, homes in Moondance increased in price dramatically during the bubble. But now, after a couple of rough years, current prices once again appear to be affordable to prospective Mesa home buyers, with prices in many cases looking like pre-bubble prices.
