About Overgaard's Mogollon Airpark

Good Morning Sunday, had a great night sleep, and ready to hit the ground running. Woke up to this beautiful snow fall. NOT expecting this, a storm system seemed to come out of no where. The radar shows this system right over our town of Heber-Overgaard. We enjoyed an average of 75 degrees all week working out of our Fountain Hills office. Headed to the mountain office Saturday and today it looks like an accumulation of several inches of snow. Driving our Prius this weekend so this should be fun out on the roads. We have a task list a mile long and expecting clients but Now what do we do today????

To some this may seem crazy, we are from Chicago, we know snow, we survived the blizzard of 79. BUT the road that bridges the Valley to the Mountain can be so dangerous, the elevation is about 7500 feet of mountain terrain. It is a beautiful, breathtaking drive, but the stretch in Forest Trails can be slow and dangerous.

We have been so fortunate to be very busy listing and selling. We are averaging 14 hour days. No time for a break. We will look at this unexpected snow fall as a sign and slow down today. Enjoy this Sunday, reflect and realize what we have. This is not a obstacle today this is a chance to relax and rejuvenate.
