Interstate 17 Construction Update
Ramp closures planned this week at Pinnacle Peak,
Happy Valley roads

Upcoming Restrictions
Several upcoming restrictions and closures are planned for construction of I-17 improvements. Please see below for information about restriction dates, times and alternate routes.

I-17 at Pinnacle Peak Road
Thursday, May 21 - Friday, May 22
7 p.m. - 5 a.m.
The northbound I-17 on-ramp at Pinnacle Peak Road will be closed overnight from Thursday night until Friday morning for work on the I-17 widening project. During the closure, drivers may exit at Happy Valley Road and use the southbound frontage road to access Pinnacle Peak Road.

I-17 at Happy Valley Road
Thursday, May 21 - Friday, May 22
7:30 p.m. - 5 a.m.
The northbound I-17 off-ramp at Happy Valley Road will be closed overnight from Thursday night until Friday morning for work on the I-17 widening project. During the closure, drivers may exit at Pinnacle Peak Road and use the northbound frontage road to access Happy Valley Road.

Loop 101 between 27th and 23rd avenues
Thursday, May 21 - Friday, May 22
10 p.m. - 5 a.m.
The eastbound Loop 101 frontage road (Beardsley Road) will be closed overnight between 27th and 23rd avenues from the night of Thursday, May 21 until the morning of Friday, May 22. During the closure, drivers will be detoured onto 27th Avenue, south to Yorkshire Drive, east to 23rd Avenue and north to reconnect with the frontage road.

I-17 at Pinnacle Peak Road
Tuesday, May 26 - Wednesday, May 27
7 p.m. - 5 a.m.
The northbound I-17 on-ramp at Pinnacle Peak Road will be closed overnight from Tuesday night until Wednesday morning for work on the I-17 widening project. During the closure, drivers may use the northbound frontage road to Jomax Road to access northbound I-17.

I-17 at Pinnacle Peak Road
Wednesday, May 27 - Thursday, May 28
7 p.m. - 5 a.m.
The southbound I-17 on-ramp at Pinnacle Peak Road will be closed overnight from Wednesday night until the morning of Thursday, May 28 for work on the I-17 widening project. During the closure, drivers may use the northbound frontage road to Happy Valley Road to access southbound I-17.

Thursday, May 28 - Friday, May 29
7 p.m. - 5 a.m.
The northbound I-17 off-ramp at Pinnacle Peak Road will be closed overnight from Thursday night until Friday morning for work on the I-17 widening project. During the closure, drivers may exit at Happy Valley Road and use the southbound frontage road to access Pinnacle Peak Road.

I-17 at Dove Valley Road
Sunday, May 31 - Friday, June 5
10 p.m. - 5 a.m.
I-17 will be closed periodically during overnight hours from the night of Sunday, May 31 until the morning of Friday, June 5 while crews install girders for the new interchange bridge at Dove Valley Road. The closure will affect northbound I-17 starting Sunday, May 31 until the morning of Wednesday, June 3 and southbound I-17 from the night of Tuesday, June 2 until Friday morning, June 5.
