~ FSBO With Deer (Oh Look! It's real!) ~

Two houses down from us, the folks have their house for sale. As my Darlin' and I pulled out of the garage onto the street this evening around 5:30, we were startled to see Momma Mule Deer standing in their front yard. I turned cattywampus in the street and rolled down the window to take some pictures. (We don't have much traffic in our foothills community, Tucson Estates II. Nobody cared that I was sideways in the street.)

Momma's twins were in the side yard, munching away on the yellow fruit of my neighbor's prize cactus!

~ Another World In The Tucson Mountains ~

There's no other description that fits so well... The Tucson Mountains after dark are another world. The sense of quiet peacefulness is created by the ridge of ancient volcanic rock separating me from the City of Tucson.

Here there is the yip of a coyote enjoying that same moon that tugged me away from the comfort of my home in Tucson Estates II. The yips crescendo into a chorus of answering coyotes, howling at that big yellow moon.

Tonight, the TV is off. I didn't bring my I-Pod. Give me, tonight, what drew Muir to the wilderness, and Thoreau to Ralph Waldo Emerson's woodland cabin near Walden Pond. Give me the sounds and quiet beauty of God's nature, and I'm content.

Today, I took four new loan applications for four separate buyers around the Arizona. I called four REALTORS, one in Tucson, one in Scottsdale, one in Glendale and one in Phoenix. All of them got good news about their buyers and a strong LSR to add to their offer. Active Rain brought me three of the four. I have yet to meet the fourth, as my relationship is with the buyer, but I'll tell her about the Active Rain Real Estate Network!

It was a successful day. Life is good, and I'm grateful.
