Vacant homes are known to take the longest to sell. The original asking price can depreciate considerably while they sit on the market, often then taken off the market. The longer on the market, the more the vacant property becomes like a dinosaur.
Vacant property becomes less appealing and don't kid yourself, people remember! Potential buyers are not likely to come back once they have already viewed a property that they cannot see themselves in.
Don't even give the property the chance of sitting empty for a long period. Don't wait to stage when the bulk of your potential buyers have already gone through, because they likely will not be back, reducing your chances of getting a buyer quickly.
Stage right. Stage from the start. Sell in half the time. Sell for more.
