What is the Home Buyers’ Interview? As a serious buyer, you need a serious REALTOR who is going to commit to take the time to help you make the informed decisions about one of the most important things in your life, where you are going to live.

The Aaron Mazurek Powell River Real Estate Team has planned the buyers’ interview to be a short meeting with your team realtor in a relaxed and comfortable setting. It is designed so that you can inform your realtor what your real estate goals are. They can then develop a plan that will allow you to meet those goals. Together we will come up with a plan to make your home ownership goals a reality.

Powell River, BC Civic Election - Get out there and Vote?

Powell River, BC Civic Election - Get out there and vote?view of Powell River just before election day 2011

This weekend's civic election is going to be one of the most interesting in a very long time in this supposedly sleepy and remote city on the west coast of British Columbia.

There has been a lot of local controversy in Powell River, with the current Mayor looking for his fifth term, and only one person, a local businessman, is running against him. Council has been right in the thick of it. This editorial from the Powell River Peak Newspaper sums up some of the goings on. Following the antics is great fun, but our little city needs to move on.

Comments to the local newspaper, the Powell River Peak online have been extremely divided. The most important thing is that everyone gets informed, makes their choices, and then gets out and votes.

Click this link to see the platforms of the various candidates.

I hope that everyone has a fabulous weekend, and takes the time to vote!
