Langford BC is located on the southern end of Vancouver Island and is known as one of the Greater Victoria's Western Communities with a population of approximately 22,500 residents.

Langford BC, traces its history back to 1851 with the European settlement of the area. However, after having succumbed to a barrage of various crimes and mayhem, it experienced a "rebirth" when Langford was incorporated in 1992. With the incorporation, the city made a concerted effort to revitalize the area, undertaking civic improvements which have attracted new growth and business development. Among the improvements are the renovation of the business centre, construction of new roads, and creation of a special destination, the Bear Mountain Golf Resort.
