Tour of Pacifica Waterfront Condos- 38 Front Street Nanaimo

I spent the lunch hour yesterday touring the Pacifica Waterfront condos and townhouses at 38 Front Street in downtown Nanaimo.

When we arrived for the tour we were given a map of the tower. We began at the 13^th floor and toured our way down to the 3^rd floor where we had a lovely lunch on the deck overlooking the waterfront.

Wow! I have never had a proper tour of the building and this tour gave me a really good feel for the property. The units are very modern and very light. I could definitely see myself living there in style.

The sales have been a little slow so the developer has lowered the prices. You can now get a 2 bedroom condo from $330,000. And Townhomes start at $435,000! The square footage ranges from 1074 to 1211 sq. feet.

The Pacifica offers Concierge service, beautiful terraces, spacious designs, a landscaped courtyard, your own private park and Nanaimo's magnificent waterfront promenade at your doorstep.

The second annual Real Estate Webmasters Summit is coming to Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, from July 30 to 31, 2009. Yes you will learn, yes you will network, and yes you should not miss the conference for all the business reasons mentioned, but c'mon people - this is Vancouver Island, the Pacific Coast of British Columbia - it is probably on most everyone's bucket list anyways. Write it off and come early, stay late, and enjoy all the pacific north west has to offer. See you there!

The city of Nanaimo has been working to revitalize the downtown area for a while now, and I can honestly say that it is starting to come around. As the convention centre nears completion I can finally start to imagine the vibrant downtown feel that the harbour city will have when those retail shops are full of quality retailers.

I live and work in Downtown Nanaimo, and I am happy to report that this "Old City" of Nanaimo is well on its way to reliving its glory days!
