It is article however about this beautiful set of lakes that many of us locals drive by on a daily base without giving its duly deserving respect and gratitude......

Not only are these lakes just amazing with all their natural beauty, and all the joy and benefits they provide so many of our Greater Victoria Residents......

Elk Lake is also home (at least part time) to our Victoria City Rowing Club, The University of Victoria Rowing team, the Greater Victoria Youth Society and our National Canadian Rowing Teams and some of the Worlds celebrated Rowing Elite can be found on or around the lake year round.

At 411 hectares Elk & Beaver Lake regional park is likely one of the most used and diverse parks in the Greater Victoria Region, and surely this will not be the last visit and post about this amazingly beautiful part of what we call Paradise or Greater Victoria to the rest of you....
