SPEECHLESS SUNDAY..WASCALLY WABBITS IN THE VEGGIE PATCH

A few Years ago we went to the Annual Saanich Fair. which ends the Summer with lots to do for Families around Victoria, all kinds of Farming Activities are on display. One very important event is the annual Contests for the Best Flowers and Veggies grown in local gardens. I took this photo of one of the contest participants wee humor..

Colquitz River and Trails Saanich BC.

Back in 1967 the Provincial Capital Commission of Victoria suggested a trail to follow along the Colquitz River and the concept was endorsed by Saanich Municipality Council in 1968 and land acquisition by Saanich began shortly there after.

This 24 km trail is still in the process of completion as part of the Regional Trail System extending from Beaver Lake to Portage Inlet. See the Map Below. Click on the Map to See Full size.
