Eight times a year Community Dinners are held and open to the community. Tickets go on sale the 1st of every month. Dinners often sellout so purchase your tickets early. Tickets are available at the community centre desk-prices vary with each event.

Seniors BBQ - June 25
Once a year the 8th annual James Bay Community Picnic is on June 18,2008 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome.The picnic is a community fundraising event that benefits youth and community programs at the James Bay Community Centre. If you would like to help out with the Picnic, please contact Event Coordinator, Joe Akerman at 389-1470 or email youth@jamesbaycentre.ca .
James Bay Day is an annual event on September 13,2008 at Irving Park with and afternoon of story telling, interactive games, healthy and tasty foods and live music. If you are interested in volunteering for this event contact Alex Dominiak at 389-1470 or email programs@jamesbaycentre.ca .
James Bay is a neighbourhood community on the South West corner of the City of Victoria within walking distance to downtown, the Pacific Ocean to the South with the City Harbour to the West and North. Housing is mixed with James Bay's own million dollar Luxury waterfront Condo's and townhouses, and with a large number of Single family Homes and rental apartment Buildings, plus a mixture of commercial and Government Buildings, like the Victoria BC Parliament Buildings.
