Whenever we travel "outside" (which is anywhere other than Alaska) we're constantly asked "Why Alaska?" Most people can't imagine jumping in their car at -50 and going anywhere other than the closest airport to catch a flight to Scottsdale, Tucson, Austin, Daytona or perhaps even Poinciana (I hear there are some good deals to be had). The truth is while we could live anywhere in the world we choose to make our home in Fairbanks, Alaska because we love the people and the incredible playground that is literally just off our back porch. Want to climb Mt. McKinley? She's a short 4 hour drive away. Feeling up to pulling a 400lb halibut up from the depths of Prince William Sound or defying gravity (& death) to heli-ski off the side of a mountain? We've got that and much, much more. Despite the few cold months, we love calling the Last Frontier home. Ready to stake your claim to a piece of the Last Frontier? Give us a call, we would love to welcome you to Alaska. |

Nice video Jesse. I really like Alaska. I have been there several times. It is a place where men are men and the women are men as well. Met some real tough fems while there. But, I can really understand your love of the natural wonderment and beauty of this final frontier.
wonderful post I really enjoyed the video. Thanks so much for your hard work making it
Jesse - This is a spectacular video, my friend. You are a natural in front of the camera. I hope to talk to you soon.
Wow, beautiful video. I can see why you love to live in Alaska (although I must say, I couldn't give sunny CA up for the world!) Best of luck in the contest!
You really do live in God's country...what a great way to showcase your home, your 'farm'! Great video.

Jesse, Great video! Alaska is beautiful but it is too cold for me! I am cold in anything below 90 degrees!
Hi Jesse, Well, your movie making is coming right along! A long time ago, my mom and dad flew up to Alaska and cruised back down to Seattle. It was their favorite cruise. I enjoyed your pictures very much.
Really beautiful scenery! Nice work!
