Willistead Manor is a 36-room mansion located in a 15-acre park in Windsor. It was built in 1904 by Edward Chandler Walker, the second son of Hiram Walker, the founder of the world-famous Canadian Club Distillery. It is named for the builder's older brother, Willis Walker. Designed by noted Detroit architect, Albert Kahn, the house is a stunning Tudor-style English manor with all the amenities of a 20th Century house. The house offers beautiful accommodations for weddings, receptions, meetings, and special events. Tours are available. For more information, see http://www.willisteadmanor.com.
