Just had to share the snowman with all my friends. It seems very rare we actully enjoy snow in Auburn, AL so it is so exciting once we do have a little come our way. It was such a nice time for all the children to build snowmen and just enjoy all the fun snow brings. Actually, I had some friends showing homes for sale in Auburn, AL and actually had a contract written on one of the homes I had listed. Talk about dedication from your Realtor. Showing homes in the rain and snow is truly dedication to your clients.

Laura ~ I agree. I had to show on Friday after a snowstorm. All the sellers assured me the drives were clear, so i took my car instead of the Expedition. One wasn't and I got stuck. Digging the car out at -5 degrees was not fun at all!! :)
Brian:
Living in the South I could not imagine having to dig my car out of the snow. Glad you are OK. You TRULY are a dedicated Realtor. If I ever decide to move your way I will contact you to be my Realtor.

You get used to showing homes in the cold and the snow. My favorite was last winter, showing homes to a couple the day after a snow/ice storm. I told them to wear boots...but, the wife refused and wore high heel shoes. Pushing her up the un-shoveled front steps of the house...we should have had a video camera.
But, she was determined and she got into the house! We all almost fell getting back out...
Don:
If you had a video camera you could have submitted it to America's Funniest Videos. She must not have been used to being in the ice and snow. We've only had a few days of the cold in Alabama and I am ready for it to warm up. Guess it is what you are accustomed to doing. Thanks for sharing your story.

Laura - No, she was used to the snow. She just believed that looking good in her footwear was more important. If only the neighbors had been out watching us that day...
Don, that is too funny! However, I have to admit I have compromised comfort for the sake of fashion in certain situations. It would have to be a VERY special occassion for me to wear heals in the snow though.
We have had snow on the ground here since Thanksgiving. It makes winter fun. If you did not work in the snow you would starve.
Michael St. Peter: Guess you becomes ajusted to the terrain you live in. I admire you for adapting to the "tough" conditions. Thanks for sharing!
