2007 marked the beginning of Earth Hour in Sydney when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 this message went global with 50 million people switching off their lights! It was a big event with global landmarks across the world going black during this hour to take action against global warming.

For 2009 the Earth Hour has taken the shape of a worldwide global election!

YOUR LIGHT SWITCH IS YOUR VOTE....

SWITCH THEM OFF TO VOTE FOR EARTH....LEAVE THEM ON TO VOTE FOR GLOBAL WARMING!

The goal for 2009 Earth Hour is for 1 billion people to switch off their lights in the fight against global warming.

By reaching our across the world the vote will be cast by people from all walks of life, from all countries and states. The call to action is to all individuals, all businesses and all communities.

The question is not what country are you from it is "What PLANET are YOU from?"

VOTE EARTH by simply switching off your lights for one hour, and join the world for Earth Hour.
